Past Job: Office Manager @ Babcock Ranch in Texas (where they raise top quality Quarter Horses), beyond managing the day to day contracts, registrations, data entry, etc., I organized their annual sale in 2006 (which was televised on RFD-TV) and designed the production of the sale catalog. Managed the Babcock Ranch Booth at the NRHA Futurity, including the developement of banners hung in the booth at the Futurity and Stallion flyers passed out during the Futurity. Also designed monthly full color print ads for Babcock Ranch in 2005-2006 that were printed in the AQHA Journal, Quarter Horse News, Stock Horse News, and Working Horse Magazine to name a few...
In December 2006, I moved back the Santa Ynez Valley in California. It's a gorgeous area full of small town feel with big town conviences. The area is known for it's vinyards and excellent wines that rival those of Napa Valley. The weather in the SY Valley is nothing short of amazing, with beautiful sunny days year-round. The Santa Ynez Valley is filled with the most beautiful views of horse ranches and vineyards--just heavenly!!
Currently: Sliding Designs is my part-time (fun-time) endevor, with my full time work at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center. The clinic is a World-Class equine hospital featuring the latest medical technologies--more advanced than the local human hospitals. Featuring an MRI, Nuclear Scintigraphy, Digital X-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound and just added, a new stem cell laboratory! Check out the clinic's website for more information (click on the name above). At Alamo Pintado, I work as the purchaser for the clinic (drugs and medical supplies), and as a Veterinary Technician specializing in Equine Reproduction.
I started Sliding Designs because I enjoy web design (mostly the graphic design aspects), and as something to supplement my income in my spare time. I believe that there are many people and small companies that miss an opportunity to show the World what they have to offer--simply because they don't have a webpage. I'd like to help these people build a new site, or rejuvenate an established site.
Because of my background, my speciality is obviously horse-related websites, but I do not discriminate, and I woule love to do different themed sites too! Please contact me if you have questions or would like to have your own website! |
